What is Timbre Shift Pro?

Timbre Shift Pro is a Windows desktop application for voice conversion. You provide source audio (record it or upload a file), choose a target voice, and the app converts your speech to sound like that voice.

Do I need an account to use it?

No. The free tier works without an account. You only need to create an account if you want to subscribe to Pro for Library voice install and use.

What is a Personal Voice?

Personal Voice is the local voice creation feature. You provide a short, clean spoken audio dataset and the app trains a voice model on your machine. It is private by default, and quality depends on the clarity and length of the dataset.

What is a Library Voice?

A Library Voice is a curated, platform-signed voice package. Free users can browse the Library, while Pro unlocks Library voice install and use.

Is Live Mode included?

No. The current public product is Record Mode-first. Real-time Live Mode remains future expansion work and is not included in the current public release.

What are the system requirements?

Windows 10 or later. The app uses CPU-first workstation profiling with thread budgeting and memory guards, so it runs on most modern Windows machines. GPU acceleration is available where supported but not required.

How much disk space does it need?

The first launch downloads and stages the voice engine runtime, which temporarily requires about 15 GB of free disk space. After setup completes, ongoing disk usage is approximately 8 GB.

How do payments work?

Payments are processed through Xendit in Philippine Peso (PHP). Pro Monthly is ₱249 and Pro Annual is ₱2,499. After checkout, return to the app and refresh access from Settings.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

If your account has provider-managed recurring billing, cancellation controls appear in the app. Paid access remains active until the end of the current paid period. Your local voices and converted files are never deleted.

Is my voice data private?

Yes. Voice conversion runs locally on your machine. Personal Voices are private by default. Your audio files and converted output stay on your device.
