FAQ
Clear answers before you install.
Get straightforward answers about the trial, our plans, and what the app can do before you decide to install.
Is Timbre Shift Pro a real-time voice changer?
No, Timbre Shift Pro is designed for studio-quality recorded audio. Real-time voice changers often suffer from latency and quality drops, so we focus entirely on high-fidelity offline rendering for creators, covers, and voiceovers.
How do I start the 7-day trial?
Enter your name and email on this website to download the Windows installer. Once installed, you will create an account and activate your trial directly inside the app. The website does not charge you.
Can I buy Monthly or Annual from the website?
We want you to test the app first. After you install and set up your account, you can buy a one-time Monthly or Annual Pro term securely inside the application.
How do I get Founder Lifetime?
Install Timbre Shift Pro, start your trial or sign in, then open Settings > Plans and choose Founder Lifetime. It is a one-time payment for Pro access on your account.
Do I need a GPU?
No, you do not need a high-end GPU. Timbre Shift Pro is optimized to run on standard modern Windows processors (CPUs). However, if you have a compatible NVIDIA graphics card, the app will automatically use it to process your audio much faster.
Which Text to Speech languages are supported?
Timbre Shift Pro currently supports text-to-speech generation in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian.
Does Speech to Text work offline?
Yes. After the local Speech to Text tools are installed, file transcription and dictation run on your Windows PC. Dictation can place text into supported focused fields when the target is safe, and blocked targets save the text inside Timbre Shift Pro instead.
What should I test during the trial?
We highly recommend pushing the app to its limits during your 7 days. Clone your own voice using a clean microphone recording, generate a realistic text-to-speech voiceover, transcribe a speech or video file, and drop in a vocal track to hear it converted into a completely different voice. Make sure the workflow fits your needs before upgrading.
